The boyfriend of a woman charged with poisoning her niece’s breast milk is also facing charges related to the case.
In May of 2018, Sarai Rodriguez-Miranda, 19, was sentenced to 25 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to attempted murder. Police say she tried to poison her 11-week-old niece by crushing Excedrin tablets and putting them in baby’s breast milk.

Sir Marshall Snyder III, also known as Marshall Snyder, was arrested earlier this month in connection with the case.
Court documents report Snyder discussed ways to kill the infant with his girlfriend, Rodriguez-Miranda, by using Facebook messenger. Police reviewed the messages between the two after obtaining search warrants.
In the messages, Rodriguez-Miranda told Snyder she wanted the baby to die, or to be taken away by Child Protective Services.
Snyder allegedly first encouraged Rodriguez-Miranda to get a knife to use on her brother, but the messages later progressed to the amount of painkillers and/or sleeping pills they should use to kill the infant.
After the incident took place in March 2018, court documents revealed Rodriguez-Miranda and Snyder left the state. A warrant was issued for Rodriguez-Miranda shortly after.
Snyder was arrested on August 7 and is facing a charge of aiding in attempted murder.
