Pfizer Consumer Healthcare is recalling a specific type of Children’s Advil because it says incorrect dosage markings could lead to overdose.
The dosage cup provided is marked in teaspoons on four-ounce bottles of Children’s Advil Suspension Bubble Gum flavor, while the instructions on the label are described in milliliters.
The recalled lot is R51129. The GTN # is 3-0573-0207-30-0, with a medication expiration date of 11/20.
WNDU reports symptoms of overdose include nausea, vomiting, headache, drowsiness, blurred vision, and dizziness.
Pfizer says consumers who purchased the specific product should return it to the store for a full refund.
