The Warsaw Elks Lodge held its annual Kids Christmas Party Saturday at the lodge. The event was funded by the lodge’s Wednesday Night Bingo Program and local donations. The Salvation Army and Head Start provided a list of 32 children in the community ages 1 to 10. A luncheon was served for the children and their families with Christmas music and a visit from Santa. Each child was given a winter coat, a toy and educational books from Kosciusko County Literacy Services. Also, the children were entertained with games and coloring activities. Elks members and volunteers shopped for toys and coats, wrapped presents, decorated for the party, served lunch and cleaned up after the event.
