A Warsaw couple was arrested on drug-related charges Friday evening.
The arrests followed a report of theft that a Warsaw Police Department officer responded to Jan. 27. The victim reported 20 of her prescription Zolpiderm pills had been stolen, according to a probable cause affidavit.
The victim believed it was stolen by Dustin Michael Helblig and his wife, Autumn Sharease Helblig, because the victim believes both are struggling with drug addictions, the report states.
On Jan. 29, the victim confronted the couple who admitted they did steal the prescription medication and also had heroin in their possession. They admitted they travel to Chicago three to four times weekly to purchase, sell and use heroin. They purchase 40 bags weighing 2 to 3 grams each week, the affidavit states.
The couple admitted to the police officer that they sold six bags of heroin in Warsaw on Jan. 28.
They are both being held without bond in the Kosciusko County jail.
