Whitko Community Schools had a brief lockdown yesterday.
School officials say it was prompted shortly before 12:45 p.m. by threatening remarks a student directed at Whitko Jr/Sr High School.
The issue was resolved within a matter of minutes.
After a complete investigation, it was deemed there was no threat to students or staff.
Whitko officials say they take any issues dealing with safety very seriously and will continue to be proactive in these situations.
