After RadioShack files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, the chain says they will close three northeast Indiana stores. The electronics retailer says they are closing 1,784 stores nationwide by March 31st. The Journal Gazette reports the three local stores that are closing are located at 210 E. Pettit Avenue in Fort Wayne, 426 W. Plaza Drive in Cloumbia City and 2513 E. North Street in Kendallville. A large number of stores will be sold to electronics retailer, General Wireless Inc. who has a deal with Sprint communications. The Warsaw store is expected to stay open for the projected future.
