The “Brew, Bow-Wow and Meow” fundraiser for Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County is Feb. 28 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Westmain Tavern, 201 W. Main St., Syracuse.
Jason and Emily Traycoff, who own Westmain Tavern, Syracuse, are sponsors of the event. The couple are turning their establishment over to a tasting from the taps.
Visitors will be treated to two pints or four half-pints from the Upland Brewing Company plus a pouring list, a gift from the Brewing Company and door prize drawings throughout the evening.
Visitors will have an opportunity to purchase and browse through artwork by local artists. The artwork was created to support the Animal Welfare League in its ongoing efforts to provide sanctuary and find homes for stray and unwanted pets. In addition to the brew tasting,
Westmain Tavern will serve a limited chalkboard special menu, and cost for this is not included in the entry price. Tickets will be sold in advance for $35 and there are no reservations. People must be 21 to enter.
Entrance, if not sold out, will be $45 at the door.
The event will allow patrons the opportunity to sample and enjoy a variety of craft brews.
