Warsaw Community High School Winter Percussion Ensemble placed first in its class at the Carroll High School Percussion Invitational Saturday. Warsaw won the Concert Open class with a performance of their show “Dance on a Volcano,” based on music by the rock band Genesis. The percussion ensemble will next perform during the Warsaw Winter Percussion Invitational in the Tiger Den March 7. The Warsaw Invitational begins at 2 p.m. and WCHS will perform at 6:15 p.m. Admission is $6. Contact the WCHS Music Office at 574-317-5037 for more information.
