If you’re doing any traveling this week for Thanksgiving, at least you’ll be paying less at the pump.
Gas prices in the area have fallen 11 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.42 a gallon yesterday, according to GasBuddy.
The national average also fell 5.6 cents per gallon last week to $2.62.
Gas prices in Indiana are almost 29 cents per gallon lower than a year ago and are 41 cents per gallon lower than they were a month ago, which is good, because AAA says more than 43.5 million Americans will be hitting the road for Thanksgiving this year.
