One person is dead after a plane crash in Grant County. Marion Fire Chief Geoff Williams confirmed the fatality just before 3pm Thursday. The victim has been identified as 60-year old Jeffrey C. Barrett of Marion. His small plane crashed near the Marion Municipal Airport along State Road 22 between state roads 9 and 37. It is not yet known what caused the crash.
