There is still no word on what caused a fire that claimed the lives of six people in Logansport this week. Fire investigators did say that they have sifted through the charred remains of the home and there is no evidence that fire was intentionally set. They have also ruled out major appliances like the home’s water heater and stove as possible sources. They say there is evidence that the fire could have been caused by an electrical issue, but not enough to be conclusive. The victims ranged from three months to 42 years in age, and two people survived. Investigators also say the home had no working smoke detectors.
