K21 Health Foundation recently approved a $100,000 grant to A Bridge to Hope, a Kosciusko County based organization dedicated to identifying treatment options for those struggling with substance use disorder. The grant will be used for ongoing operational support, expansion of its treatment database and further development of its Recovery Coach program.
“This grant from K21 Health Foundation provides the funds necessary for the continued expansion of our primary programs. We are dedicated to identifying appropriate treatment options for those struggling with substance use disorder as well as walking alongside those in early recovery with our Recovery Coaching program,” said Kevin Haines, Executive Director of A Bridge to Hope. “These funds will be used to help the hundreds of people we interact with each year that are looking to live sober, productive lives.”
“We recognize that dependence on drugs or alcohol is a serious health issue here in our community” said K21 Health Foundation President & CEO Rich Haddad. “Those dealing with substance use disorder often have no idea where to go for help. A Bridge to Hope can provide these individuals and their families with the information and direction they need to make informed choices about treatment and recovery.”
