Kosciusko County Dispatch confirmed this morning that a local teen died after a tree fell on his home. Dispatchers said one other person was also injured and two people were uninjured after the tree fell. It landed on the front section of a mobile home located at Fairlane Mobile Home Park in Winona Lake. The tree fell during the spout of severe weather this morning, just after 1:00 a.m. The woman who lives next door spoke with ABC 57, and said her son was in the mobile home when the tree fell. Residents said the teenage boy who died was between the ages of 13 and 16 years old. The name of the deceased has not yet been confirmed by law enforcement officials.
