We now know why a small plane went down last month near Goshen Municipal Airport last month
The National Transportation Safety Board says the Piper airplane hit power lines as it approached the airport for landing Feb. 21.
The crash killed the pilot, 55-year-old Neal Myers of Middlebury.
The NTSB says Myers was practicing takeoffs and landings before the crash.
