The Veterans Resource Group is hosting a commemorative wreath-laying ceremony to honor all service men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the pursuit of freedom.
The event will take place tomorrow at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, at Warsaw Municipal Park, just south of Center Lake in downtown Warsaw.
Zimmer Biomet’s Ken Tripp, senior vice president, global operations and logistics, will be the featured speaker.
A combined Zimmer Biomet Orchestra and Warsaw Community High School Band will provide patriotic music. Also participating in the event will be the U.S. Army Color Guard, the local VFW and American Legion chapters and local police and first responders.
Gold Star Families, those who are relatives of U.S. military members who died in battle, will be guests of honor.
Veteran team members are encouraged to wear their military uniforms to the event.
