Local racing fans can enjoy a special display at the Warsaw Community Public Library this month.
A large glass showcase on the lower level is featuring a collection of Warsaw Speedway memorabilia.
Track Historian Kim Gregory Baney says items spanning its history from 1949 to 1990 include helmets, uniforms, racing gloves, and trophies.
Some of the driver’s items on display include Dick Heeter, Jimmie and Tony Elliott, Randy Woodling, and Denny England.
An additional collection of photos from the Speedway will be displayed on the hallway wall to the left of the Circulation Desk.
