If you missed the opioid forum in Warsaw a couple weeks ago, you have a chance to hear from officials and those impacted tonight in Syracuse.
“The Opioid Epidemic: Our Community Speaks” will take place at the Syracuse Community Center from 6 until 8 PM. The event will give people the chance to hear from town and county officials about how opioids are impacting the community and what is being done to fight the dangerous drugs.
Those families that have been affected by the drugs will also speak about their stories and their recovery. Numerous community groups and non-profits will also be on hand with information on how each helps in the fight. The event is free to the public. The event in Warsaw drew over 200 people at Center Lake Pavilion.
