While you still may see some cars out on the road during the stay-at-home order, a recent study by the New York Times shows that travel is down in states where such a restriction was put in place, including Indiana.
Through the use of cell phone tracking during the week of March 23rd, much of Indiana saw roughly one-third of typical travel than before the home restrictions. Average distance fell under two miles in Kosciusko County and surrounding counties by March 26th.
The data was based on anonymous cellphone data from fifteen million people. A link to the NY Times study can be found here.
