With a lot of uncertainty continuing to surround when things will be able to reopen locally and across the nation, summer activities have all but been on hold for the time.
This rings true with the Kosciusko County Fair, which is currently scheduled to take place July 12th through the 18th. This year would be the 104th annual fair.
Fair Board President Shane Checketts says they are following the guidance from state and local governments, along with the 4-H leadership through the Purdue extension.
“We remain hopeful that we will still have a fair this year and are continuing with planning that way right now. However, things have been fluid and change rapidly, so we are keeping an eye on the guidance from those officials. It’s difficult to predict where this will be in 3 or 4 or even 6 weeks from now.”
The Kosciusko County Fair Facebook page and website will be updated with any announcements and changes.
