Kosciusko County Sheriff Aaron Rovenstine announced a new addition to the roster, as deputy Sheriff Matthew Holderman replaces a vacancy within the Sheriff’s Department.
Deputy Holderman is a 2008 graduate of Warsaw Community High School as well as a 2010 graduate of Vincennes University with an Associates of Science degree in Law Enforcement. He began his law enforcement career as a confinement officer at the Kosciusko County Work Release Center in 2010, before moving to the Jail Division in 2011.
Holderman is a native of Kosciusko County and was recently assigned to the road patrol division. He is also a third generation officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, following his father Larry and grandfather Stan Holderman.
Sheriff Rovenstine said in the announcement that Holderman was selected from a large group of excellent candidates and will be a great asset to the department as well as the citizens of Kosciusko County.
