We have a gas price alert! Patrick DeHaan of www.gasbudddy.com is warning us that a temporary spike in gas prices of 10-30 cents per gallon is on the way. DeHaan says 12 petroleum refineries are preparing for fall maintenance projects which will lower the amount of gasoline they can produce. A lower supply along with increase crude oil prices in the Middle East means an increase in price for us at the pump. DeHaan says it could take a few weeks for prices to return to their current levels.
