A California man was sentenced in court after he intended to deliver methamphetamine to a person in South Bend.
30-year old Antonio Henderson of San Bernardino was sentenced to 54 months in prison in the US District Court in South Bend this week after he pleaded guilty to interstate transportation in aid of racketeering.
Court documents in the case show that Henderson flew to Chicago to pick up a car loaded with meth that was shipped from California. Henderson’s intent was to deliver the car and its drug cargo to a person in South Bend, but was arrested before the delivery was made.
Following his prison sentence, Henderson will have two years of supervised release.
