A Warsaw man was arrested Monday for domestic battery in front of four children and threatening to kill a man.
David Castillejo Sr., 34, of 2441 W. CR 250S, Warsaw, faces charges of domestic battery in the presence of children; misdemeanor domestic battery; interference with the reporting of a crime; and felony level intimidation, according to the probable cause affidavit from the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s office.
On Sept. 28, Castillejo allegedly injured a woman’s wrist in front of her four children. Warsaw police responded to the scene around 7 p.m. Castillejo told police that the two had only been arguing and that he was “done with her drama.” He then walked away. Police photographed the red mark on the victim’s wrist.
Police had to respond to the home again after Castillejo had returned and allegedly threatened to kill the victim’s husband. Castillejo had continued the earlier argument and tried to intimidate the husband. Castillejo had already left the scene when police arrived.
When police contacted Castillejo by phone, he told them that the officer could not tell him what to do.
He was booked into Kosciusko County Jail with a $5,250 bond.
