All Things New Launches Drive To Purchase Riverwood Ranch

All Things New, a local non-profit agency formed to help women struggling with substance abuse, announced the public launch of its campaign to raise operating funds and capital funds for the purchase of the Riverwood Ranch property, on Old 30 west of Warsaw.
According to All Things New founder Bill Fawley, the current owner, Lifeline Youth and Family Services, has operated a residential faith-based ministry on the site for decades. It consists of 23 acres on the Tippecanoe River, with a five bedroom house, detached apartment and a large barn.
According to Fawley, the property will provide “a wonderful blend of isolation and proximity to local services.” Closing on the real estate is scheduled in mid-December.
“This is a tremendous opportunity, but we have to act fast,” he said in the announcement.
Fawley said $300,000 is needed to purchase the property.  Additionally, approximately $250,000 will need to be raised annually to operate it.
According to its mission statement, All Things New exists “to provide hope, a fresh start and freedom for women struggling with various addictions by providing a safe environment and life skills necessary to destroy old habits, while fostering dependency on Jesus Christ, who makes all things new.”
Indiana, according to Fawley, is one of the top 10 states for rates of drug usage, and drug-induced deaths in Indiana are above the national average. Indiana is among the top three states in the production of methamphetamine and the heaviest use is here in the north-central portion of the state, according to Fawley.
All Things New is a 501(c)(3) organization founded by Fawley, who had been a lawyer in Warsaw for over 20 years.  Donations  are tax-deductible and can be made online at www.allthingsnew.us or by mailing a check to P.O. Box 367, Winona Lake, IN, 46590.
