The road work continues on Hickory Street, as the project moves to the north side of Center Street.
The road will now be closed between Center and Market through Thursday, August 27th. The project is to restructure Hickory Street to become a one-way street, with traffic flowing north and south from Center Street. Safety medians, curbing, parking changes, and additional safety signage and signals will also be added to Hickory Street to improve safety when a train is approaching the area.
Parking will be unavailable during this time. Residents should use other nearby on-street parking during the construction period. Trash and recycling pick-up will not be interrupted.
