A project to replace the toilets in six of the blocks of the Kosciusko County Jail was discussed Tuesday morning.
County Administrator Marsha McSherry brought up the concern with the current toilets during Tuesday’s Kosciusko County Commissioners meeting. She presented a quote from Willoughby Industries out of Indianapolis to replace the units with more up-to-date units, as the current ones flood and have parts rusting out.
The new units would come a way to shut off water if there is an issue, and it comes at a cost savings for the county:
McSherry said the total costs for the project would be just over $130,000. She suggested that they start with two blocks to see how things go.
