The Plymouth community is mourning the death of a High School junior. David Bacon Jr. passed away Sunday night. The school district is providing grief counselors for students and staff at Plymouth High School as well as at Lincoln Junior High School where Bacon's siblings attend. Superintendent Dan Tyree says the entire community has united to get through this difficult time. Bacon played several sports at Plymouth and was a current member of the football team, playing safety, free safety, and quarterback. His father, David Bacon Senior is the Chief of Police in Plymouth.
