Riley Radio Days begins on Classic Hits 107.3 WRSW on Thursday, and in its 10th year, the radiothon could surpass $1 million mark in lifetime donations.
Over the past nine years, Riley Radio Days has been able to bring in just over $900,000 to help local families and kids with expenses for trips and stays at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Throughout the day, listeners will hear stories from those families and kids who have gone through various health issues and how Riley was there to give them a hand. You’ll also hear from co-founders Mike Bergen and Alan Alderfer, who started the idea of having a local radiothon for Warsaw and Kosciusko County families.
The broadcast begins at 6 AM on Thursday and will go until 7 PM, then go between those same hours on Friday.
