Vaccines are being required for many activities and you can add going on one of the Honor Flights to that list. The Honor Flight Network says it’s implementing the requirement for the safety of the veterans and all of the participants.
The Honor Flight program takes veterans, especially World War II and Korean War veterans, to Washington, D.C., to visit their memorials and monuments.
The requirement includes everyone involved. That means the veterans themselves, volunteers, guardians and tour guides.
“In order for a participant to be considered vaccinated for this purpose, the individual must provide proof that they have received either the single dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine at least 28 days prior to the travel date or the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines at least 2 weeks prior to the travel date.”
