A Pierceton man has been arrested after allegedly stealing a truck and tools. 33 year old Darren Heinzman was caught driving a stolen 2001 Dodge pickup on Wedensday. Heinzman allegedly stole the Dodge from a woman in Kosciusko County on Saturday. Then on Tuesday, KCSD responded to a reported burglary. The homeowner told police she returned home to find her backdoor and basement window open. According to the report, she was missing multiple power tools. The vehicle owner’s son called Warsaw Police Tuesday night reporting that he had seen the stolen pickup driving in Winona Lake. Police pulled the truck over and found Heinzman behind the wheel with most of the stolen tools in the truck. He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on a $5,200 bond.
