Kosciusko County COVID cases have seen significant improvement since the start of the year.
Data provided by the Kosciusko County Health Department reported 79 cases of the virus between June 1st and July 3rd. That’s down from a recent peak of 456 in April and far from the spike in November, where 2,569 cases were reported.
In just the past week, ending last Saturday, only eight cases of the virus was reported, the lowest weekly count since late March, early April of 2020.
Vaccinations continue a slow fall, with the average daily doses given at 54. Just over 25,000 people, or 37 percent in Kosciusko County are fully vaccinated, while nearly 50,000 doses have been given.
