State Officials Urging Residents To Get The Flu Vaccine

State health officials are urging Indiana residents to get their flu vaccinations. The state's Health Commissioner says at best, the flu makes people miserable. At worst, it can be deadly. Flu season typically starting in October and continuing through May. The health department says seasonal flu viruses can vary from year to year, so it is important to get a flu vaccine every year. High-risk individuals include pregnant women, young children, those with chronic illnesses and/or compromised immune systems and adults age 65 and older.
