TIMES UNION REPORTS – Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday for Renewed Tech Repair, 1824 E. Market St., Warsaw.
Owner Derek Wray said he is currently the only employee at Renewed Tech Repair, with plans to bring on two new employees. He signed the contract for the business in December 2019. He took over the business, previously known as Village Geeks, after working there for approximately six months.
Wray said he does a lot of repair work, including work on laptops. According to the website, Renewed Tech Repair also does cell phone, tablet and video game console repair, mobile phone insurance and sells mobile phone accessories. Wray said he used to do TV repair but doesn’t currently do it due to the size of modern TVs and spacing issues.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Wray said he wants a place for people to come and get their items repaired. He said he is constantly furthering his knowledge in the repair field.
No appointments are required. However, Wray said if someone is at Renewed Tech Repair first, that customer will be helped first.
He also hopes to find another location for his store in the future.
