WINONA LAKE – Big Brothers Big Sisters announced that the 8th Annual BIG Celebration will take place Dec. 7 at the Winona Heritage Room to benefit the organization and its mission to help local children reach their potential through professionally supported one-to-one mentor relationships.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a reception and silent auction. Auction items include items donated from gift cards to handmade goods from local artisans.
The program will begin at 6:45 p.m. and feature a plated dinner, an inspirational testimony from a Big & Little, presentation of the 2021 Charles D. Smith Award, and a Fashion Show featuring our Bigs & Littles from Kosciusko County.
There is no ticket cost or fee to attend, as organizers hope guests will be inspired to support the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters through a monetary gift of $75 or more. Gifts made that evening will be entered to win a $500 Kohl’s Shopping Spree. Seating is limited and guests must register in advance to attend.
Join Big Brothers Big Sisters for a night to remember, according to a news release from Big Brothers Big Sisters. All funds raised from this event are allocated to the programs of Kosciusko County, allowing BBBS to maintain current matches and provide growth for more Big & Little matches to be made in our community.
