Ivy Tech Community College Warsaw is holding a community meet and greet and its first community advisory board meeting Tuesday.
The meet and greet will take place from 3 to 5 p.m., when members of the public are welcome to attend and speak with Ivy Tech Warsaw representatives and Chancellor Dr. Kim Barnett-Johnson to discuss her vision for Ivy Tech in northeast Indiana. Industry leaders, community representatives and other stakeholders from Kosciusko County are invited to share their goals and needs for partnership with Ivy Tech. This event will also mark the first stop on a multi-county tour by Barnett-Johnson across the college’s service area.
A reception for the newly formed advisory board will be held from 5 to 5:30 p.m. during which attendees will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Silveus Crossing building dedication. From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., the advisory board will hold its first meeting with campus presentations.
