Salvation Army Open House Thursday

The Salvation Army will hold an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Worship and Community Center, 501 E. Arthur St., Warsaw.

The Salvation Army is celebrating its 100th anniversary in Kosciusko County.

This event is in cooperation with the Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce as an “After Hours” event. There will be dessert, networking and a drawing for a chance to win $100 in Kosciusko Cash.

The Salvation Army was established in February 1921 by Major and Mrs. Fred Harvey. The first office was in the Warsaw City Hall.

The public is invited to attend.
