Michael S. Reichert, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in his home on Thursday, December 30, 2021. He was 59 years old.
Born on June 26, 1962, in Mishawaka, he was the son of Joel and Karen Reichert. He was a graduate of Goshen High School and spent more than 14 years with Precision Grinding, much of it as a supervisor. He married Penny Stevens on June 27, 2015, in Atwood. He was also an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy.
A fun-loving person with a phenomenal sense of humor, Michael loved to laugh and pick on those he loved most. He enjoyed watching Indy 500 and NASCAR racing and was a fan of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. He was also a grill master and liked cooking and smoking meats.
Those who survive with memories to cherish include his loving wife Penny; children, Joseph (Haley) Reichert and Brenna (Don) Greenman; step children, Dennis (Sara) Stevens and Amelia (Curt) Stevens; grandchildren, Clayton, Joann, Levi, Sapphira, and Charlotte; mother, Karen Reichert; sister, Annette Buck; brother, Jay Reichert; and his beloved yorkie, Fred.
