Betty Jo Collins, 75, of Winona Lake, Indiana passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Born on March 24, 1946, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Betty was the daughter of Estill and Bessie (Marsillett) Hughes.
She retired from Chore-Time Brock Plastic Division in 2003. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Betty dearly loved her grandchildren and spending time with her daughter.
Betty will be lovingly remembered by her husband Lowell Collins of Winona Lake; daughter Paula (Todd) Haines of Milford, son Lowell K. Collins; grandchildren Ryan Smythe, Erik (Tiara) Jarvis, Heidi (Grant) Haines, Eric Haines, Tyler Collins; siblings, Henry (Judy) Hughes, Glen (Linda) Hughes and Linda (Neal) Evans. She was preceded in passing by daughter Tammy Collins, son Charles “Dwayne” Jarvis and six siblings.
A visitation is planned from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. on Friday February 11, 2022 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service in celebration of her life will begin at 12:00 Noon in the funeral chapel with her brother Reverend Glen Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Masks are optional, and social distancing is encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
