Speeches for the Optimist Oratory Contest will be done live in the Old Courthouse Courtroom, 100 W. Center St., Warsaw, March 27 with doors opening at 12:30 p.m.
The contest will start at 1 p.m.
Anyone in Kosciusko County under the age of 19 and still in school is eligible for the contest, according to provided information.
Those interested in participating in the contest can fill out the application at https://www.optimist.org/forms/21-22_oratorical_application.pdf and return it to mail@jeffowens.net by March 23. The maximum number of contestants is 20, so this is first-come, first-serve.
Prizes also will be co-sponsored by the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce and the Warsaw Breakfast Club.
