On March 27, the Lakeland Community Choir, Grace Lancer Chorus and musicians from the Wagon Wheel Symphony of the Lakes will present Dan Forrest’s “Requiem for the Living” at 7 p.m. in the Warsaw Performing Arts Center.
They will be joined by tenor soloist Landon Staley, mezzo soprano soloist Cassandra Petre and organist Paul Satre.
The Lakeland Youth Chorale and Bremen Children’s Choir will also offer several selections.
“The Requiem” was originally scheduled for performance in spring 2020. According to Ardis Faber, artistic director for the Lakeland Community Choir, this piece is “a musical offering of a prayer for rest, hope, light, truth and peace to our community who are living and grieving the loss of loved ones, friends. This message is for the living as much as for the deceased.”
Tickets are $12 and are available for purchase online at www.classicartsprograms.com/tickets.
