Do you want to reflect on God’s word and know it better? Do you want to focus on Bible passages in a new way? Do you long to draw closer to the Lord?
The Church of the Good Shepherd, 708 College Ave., Winona Lake, has a new writing group called “Write the Word” on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. to do just that.
Scripture writing is simply writing out Bible verses and reflecting on the words as you write. Scripture writing can help you grow in your faith and fall in love with God’s word. It doesn’t have to be fancy or hard to do. The purpose is to allow this time to slow you down and focus on God’s word, according to a news release from the church.
Bring your Bible, writing paper and pen and spend an hour with other believers quietly writing God’s word.
