This data comes from a countywide Gallup survey on the five areas of well-being that all share: physical, financial, social, community and career or purpose. Now, volunteer committees are working with Live Well to create programing that will improve each of these areas in the next five years. One of these projects is a personal and professional development program called Clock into Potential.
The Career and Purpose Committee developed this mentoring program to help Kosciusko residents in any stage of life. Whether you’re just out of school, recently married, a parent, empty nester, in retirement or exploring different career options, Clock into Potential can help you maximize your potential and determine your purpose, the release states.
The program will take place over the course of three months. Participants will attend one workshop a month. Sessions include Finding Your Purpose, Discovering Yourself and Building Financial Fitness. Participants will also be matched with their own mentor that will meet with them during the three-month program to evaluate progress and aid with any barriers that may prevent them from accomplishing their goals.
“As for participants – we want members of the community who want more fulfillment and are willing to do the work required to get there,” said Amanda Eshleman, committee member and associate human resources director at Zimmer Biomet.
The program begins Oct. 1. Interested in participating? Applications are open now until Sept. 16. Space is limited so apply today at Livewellkosciusko.org/clock-into-potential.
