Eleanor O Moffett, age 87, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born on July 8, 1935 in Hampton Massachusetts the daughter of Karl and Alice Olson.
She was united in marriage to Donald H Moffett in Springfield, MA on August 12, 1961.
Eleanor was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Warsaw and active in the church hospitality.
She enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking and keeping a clean and tidy home. She especially enjoyed cleaning other people’s homes and ministering to them. She showed great compassion while visiting and serving others. In her spare time, she worked word search puzzles and played solitaire.
Survivors include her children Karen Moffett, Karl Moffett and Donna (Andy) Corp all of Warsaw, grandchildren Zach (Heather) Corp of Larwill, Renae Corp of Warsaw and great-grandchildren Aiden Corp and MacKenzie Corp both of Larwill. She was preceded by both parents, her husband, Donald (2019) and 2 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Eleanor’s life will be held on Friday February 24, 2023 at 5:00 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church, Warsaw. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Church prior to the service. Pastor Layne Sumner will officiate the service.
Interment will be private in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
The family is requesting that memorial donations be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 1838 E. Kosciusko Drive, Warsaw, IN 46582.
