Winona Lake Volunteer Fire Department received a fire alarm report at 6:30 a.m. Thursday at Indiana Hall at Grace College. There was smoke in the building, but no flames, according to Mitch Titus, Winona Lake fire chief. No one was in the building. The smoke was attributed to a belt that came loose from a furnace. Damage was estimated at less than $100. Winona Lake and Warsaw fire departments responded.
