WARSAW — The annual Kids’ Fishing Derby organized by Warsaw Parks and Recreation will have a new location when it returns on Saturday.
Traditionally, the event has been held at Center Lake, but Saturday’s event, which runs from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., will be at Beyer Park on East Arthur Street on the south side of Pike Lake.
The event is free and prizes will be awarded in several categories for different age groups. The first 30 kids will receive a gift bag. Participants must bring their own pole and bait.
