WARSAW — Warsaw Community High School will host its annual homecoming festivities on Friday.
Starting at 5 p.m. the parade will feature the WCHS official homecoming court and creatively decorated floats, each representing the clubs and sports offered at the school.
This year’s theme is “Movie Night” and spectators are invited to sport their favorite movie character costumes.
The parade will begin at the WCHS Performing Arts Center parking lot, journey down Union Street, take a right onto Market Street and make a left onto Indiana Street. From there, it will turn left onto Main Street and continue onto Columbia Street, concluding at the corner of Columbia and Market Streets.
After the parade, WCHS Student Council will host a Homecoming Alumni Dinner in the WCHS Cafeteria from 6-7 p.m. All alumni and their families are invited to enjoy dinner prior to the football game.
Participants should enter through the high school front doors, which is an opportunity to see recent renovations.
Tickets are available for $10, with money going to Riley’s Hospital for Children.
In addition, WCHS is offering a unique opportunity for visitors to explore the new construction and renovations at Warsaw Community High School from 6-7 p.m.
