A home renter and two roommates escaped a house fire Sunday night without injuries.
According to Ed Kipker, Warsaw-Wayne Township Fire Territory shift C battalion chief, the occupant renting the home at 413 W. Jefferson St., Warsaw, called the fire into Central Dispatch at 9:43 p.m. Sunday.
Warsaw-Wayne Township Fire Territory responded along with Winona Lake Fire Department. Pierceton and Claypool fire departments were on standby.
Estimated damage is $90,000, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
It took crews 30 minutes to put the fire out.
