WARSAW — Kosciusko County Highway Department is warning that utility pole replacement work along and near Armstrong Road will continue to require short road closures for several weeks.
Troy Kintzel, the assistant superintendent for the highway department, said it might be best for motorists (not nearby residents) to avoid Armstrong Road for at least another month or so.
“They’re going along through there and Armstrong Road will be closed the remainder of the year — just in different sections,” Kintzel said.
“Everybody just needs to have a little bit of patience … this is something that’s not every year. This is just something we have to deal with right now. Hopefully, within a month, it will all be over with and we can go about our lives,” he added.
Kintzel said they’ll provide updates on closures as the project progresses.
Current closures include:
- Armstrong Road from EMS T26 Lane to CR 450E
- Third Street and Armstrong Road in Oswego
- CR 450N from 250E to 175E
- CR 100E from Barrington Hills to 350N
- CR 100E from 350N to Wellington Drive
