NORTH WEBSTER — A single-vehicle crash Thursday night left one man dead.
The accident on CR 200N near SR 13 happened at 9:10 p.m. and involved a Ford F-250 pick-up truck that struck a large tree, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
Police believe the Ford truck was eastbound on CR 200N and left the southern edge of the roadway and struck a tree.The driver of the vehicle, Matthew W. Abrams, 31, North Webster, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Abrams was not wearing a seatbelt and was the only occupant.
Assisting the sheriff’s office was the Tippecanoe Township Fire Territory, Lutheran EMS, Pierceton PD, North Webster PD, Pierceton Fire Department, and Webster EMS.
The crash remains under investigation.
