Grocery store chain ALDI is hiring new workers for its South Bend, Elkhart, Plymouth and Warsaw stores at a hiring event that takes place today.
The job fair started at 7am and will last until 6pm at the Hyatt Place hotel in Mishawaka.
ALDI is looking to fill multiple positions, including: store associates starting at 12 dollars an hour, shift managers at 16-50 an hour.
Manager trainees can make near 55 thousand dollars per year, with the opportunity to earn as much as 90-thousand dollars if promoted to store managers.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Potential employees will have to pass a drug screening and background check, and should be able to lift 45 pounds.
